Yesterday we couldn't have heard better news. Doctors said that the MRI Emily had this week looked great and there were no signs of any tumor. As we were driving home from the hospital there was a big advertisement billboard alongside the highway that read "Thank God". Wow did that strike me at that moment. I closed my eyes, bowed my head and said a thank you that I hope was felt. I also want to thank all of you for praying for Emily and reaching out to our family this last year. Doctors are running some tests to measure Emily's endocrine (hormone) levels to see if the removal of the tumor has affected her hyperthalamus. She has had a significant weight increase since the surgery and doctors are trying to make sure everything is normal. The neurosurgeon we spoke to yesterday gave us great hope that with continued occupational/physical therapies Emily will get stronger on her right side. With lots of Love, Cory
